Vera Leva-Skrovanova is a Czechoslovakian artist who trained as a graphic designer before turning her attention to lacework. Her designs featured in this book were selected and assembled by Stan Skoumal who is an importer of works of art based on textile media. He also wrote the introduction and captions.
