A Stitch Fixer or Stitchers Best Friend has a tapestry needle in one end and a bent point on the other end. Use both ends to remove stitches, anchor thread ends, repair finished works, adjust stitch tension, tidy backs of stitching, repair snags, weave ribbons, lay silk fibers, and for many other uses. It is important to use the correct size for your project. Stitch Fixers are available in tapestry needle sizes 26, and 28. Stitchers Best Friend are available in needle sizes 20, 22, and 24. These are made by two different companies. The Stitchers Best Friend is available in the larger sizes, and the Stitch Fixer is available in the smaller sizes.
