We love this Mechanical Pencil because of the Ceramic Lead which does not flake off. Packaged with a white lead, other refill colored leads are available. For example, drawing a clear, easy-to-see line on white linen, we recommend the Grey refill. You can stitch directly on the line and the lead does not mark your thread whatsoever. Also works on Needlepoint Canvas, particularly for drawing names at the top of a needlepoint Christmas stocking.
