About Treenway Silks' Ribbons

The silk is from the Bombyx mori silk worm, often referred to as "mulberry" silk.

Each skein is 5 yards

Woven selvages & ironed

Judith Baker Montano (award-winning and world-renowned fiber artist, photographer, author, and teacher) and Treenway Silks collaborated in 2006 to create these stunning colorways.  

Hand-painted by Treenway Silks and color fast. We use acid dyes with heat and then rinse until water runs clear.
Wash in tepid or slightly warm water.
